If you have an existing V Rising world that you'd like to upload to your server, follow these steps to transfer your files and continue your adventure.
Step 1: Locate Your World Save Files
-
On your computer, navigate to the directory where V Rising saves your world files. By default, this is usually:
-
C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRising\Saves\v3\<YourWorldFolder>
-
-
Inside the folder, you will find files such as:
-
AutoSave_x.save.gz -
SessionId.json -
StartDate.json
-
Ensure you have all the necessary files from your world folder.
Step 2: Zip Your World Save Folder
-
Select the entire folder that contains your world save files.
-
Compress the folder into a
.zipfile using your operating system's compression tool or a third-party application.
Step 3: Access the Server Panel
-
Log in to your Peel panel at peel.bananaservers.ca.
-
Navigate to the Files tab.
-
Go to the directory where V Rising save data is stored:
-
/home/container/save-data/Saves/v3/world1
-
Step 4: Upload Your Zipped Save File
-
In the Files tab, click the Upload button.
-
Select the
.zipfile you created containing your world save files. -
Once uploaded, extract the contents of the
.zipfile:-
Click on the three dots to the right of the uploaded
.zipfile. -
Select Unarchive to extract the contents directly into the server's save directory:
/home/container/save-data/Saves/v3/world1.
-
-
Confirm that all files have been successfully extracted and are present in the directory.
Step 5: Restart Your Server
-
Return to the server's main control panel.
-
Restart your server to load the uploaded world.
Your V Rising world should now be successfully uploaded, and you can join your server to continue playing from where you left off. If you encounter any issues, feel free to reach out to our support team for assistance.
