Debugging Instructions for Arclight Crashes

If your server is crashing with Arclight, follow these steps to debug the issue:

  1. Check Server Logs:

    • Navigate to the Logs tab in your game server control panel.
    • Look for recent log files, especially those named latest.log or crash-reports.
    • Open and review these files for any error messages or stack traces that indicate the source of the crash.
  2. Read Console Output:

    • Access the server console from the control panel.
    • Monitor the console output for any errors or warnings during server startup and gameplay.
    • Pay attention to messages that reference specific mods or plugins.
  3. Identify Mod Conflicts:

    • If the logs or console output indicate a specific mod causing the crash, consider removing or disabling that mod.
    • Refer to the list of incompatible mods provided above.
  4. Isolate the Issue:

    • Temporarily disable all mods and plugins.
    • Enable them one by one, restarting the server each time, to identify the mod causing the crash.
  5. Update Mods and Plugins:

    • Ensure all your mods and plugins are updated to their latest versions, as updates may contain fixes for compatibility issues.
  6. Consult Documentation:

    • Refer to the Arclight documentation and the specific mod/plugin documentation for any known issues or troubleshooting steps.

By following this guide, you can switch your Minecraft server type to Vanilla, upload Arclight, and handle any mod incompatibilities or crashes effectively. If you encounter any issues or have further questions, feel free to reach out to our support team.
